Ministries for Children
Hello Everyone! Let me start by telling you, I have a wonderful time with your children. It is so much fun to watch and help create some of our masterpieces with the children downstairs in the Children’s Chapel. We are learning about the Bible and people in the Bible and most important about the Lord’s work and way. We are going to have a lot going on with the children and I wanted you to know what we have planned so far. The offerings from the children going to help the following ministries; Operation Christmas Child, Crossroad’s Ministry and the Building Fund. Recently I had the children fill out a Service Resume. I am sending their Resumes home with them so you can see what it pertains to and where we are heading with this. We will be starting from the top and working our way down the list of things to do and learn. The verses that are listed on the Resume will be part of our learning, so if your child would like to study these verses they may need your help. We will be studying them throughout our Wednesday evening services. Some things will need to be done in a morning service or off church grounds. I will let you know in advance when that needs to happen. Some items needed for the Children’s Chapel are the following… > Toilet Paper Rolls (to be collected through winter so we can help the birds stay fed) > Pringles Cans (to be used for some of our crafts) > 2 Pictures of your child(ren) > Volunteers to make a couple of pies (for our November 18th Pie Sale) > Volunteers to make candy (for our December 16th Candy Sale) Please keep in mind, when you see us coming – beware! We are up to something (in a good way). We may need your help! We also will be taking part in our monthly newsletter “The Gospel News”. You will be hearing from the children, including their prayer requests. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your child’s life. We are learning and growing together.
